There is undisputed evidence that early childhood is the optimal time to begin intervention strategies for Bridge Ready males. Often, these children are more likely to experience trauma or violence. They’re less likely to have nurturing and qualified educators, making them less likely to be school ready. They are even more likely to have chronic illness with less access to health care.

Given these findings, Bridges 2 Success is encouraging creative strategies for early childhood success with innovative partnerships. For instance, B2S partner Global Scholars Academy (GSA) is teaming with a pediatrics center, linking families to services and opportunities, making children healthier and better prepared to succeed in school. By working with an early childhood learning center, we are better able to track and reach developmental milestones that lead to above average performance on cognitive and behavioral assessments.
