Bridge Ready males face new and formidable challenges in high school. In addition to academic challenges, they may experience trauma or violence, face inequitable disciplinary sanctions, and lack positive social networks. We work with schools and mediating institutions to implement our core values and strategies that include parental engagement, life skills curriculum, and leveraging technological and online resources.

The result is a solid academic foundation for college, an understanding of personal finances, strong non-cognitive skills, and a dense network of peers and mentors.

Additionally, we recognize the vital role of athletics in the lives of Bridge Ready males. By working with coaches in schools and in the community, we create an additional and crucial layer of support for these young men. The coaches are trained to understand the support needed by these student athletes, and athletes are encouraged to be agents of support and development for their peers inside and outside the classroom.
